Hockey
Central Vermont Memorial Civic Center is the proud home of the Black Bears youth hockey program and the U32 High School Hockey teams, both of which contribute significantly to the vibrant community of local ice hockey.
Other hockey groups at CMVCC include Central Vermont Pioneers Sled Hockey, Vermont Flames Hockey, and Capital Hockey Club (Adult hockey).
Stick and puck
Stick and Puck is an opportunity for hockey players to practice their skills on the ice. Helmet and gloves are required at all times (note we have limited skate rentals and no helmet rentals at this time).
Cost is $7 per person, skate rentals are available for $5.00 per pair.
Public Skating
Come on out for a fun session of Public Ice Skating at CVMCC, sponsored by the Montpelier Department of Recreation.
Cost is $5.00. Skate rentals are available for $5.00 per pair (note we have limited skate rentals).
Broomball
CVMCC is also home to the Central Vermont Women’s Broomball League which is a competitive broomball league in the heart of the Green Mountains. There are currently 8 established teams in the league, that play Friday and Sunday nights from October through February.
Birthday Parties
Come celebrate your birthday with an ice skating party at CVMCC! We are pleased to offer our patrons the use of a private party room located on the second floor overlooking the ice. The party room features numerous large tables and chairs that can easily accommodate 50+ people. Please visit our ice schedule to search for available times.
Pricing
Ice Rental- $235 per hour
Party Room Rental- $50 per hour for the first 2 hours and $25 per hour for the following hours
Rental Skates- $5 per person
Indoor Soccer
CVMCC is home of Capital Soccer Club Futsal. Beginning in early March, teams will compete for the Capital Soccer Futsal League Championship. The seven-week league will kick off this exciting season of indoor play.
